Our Alaska Salmon fishing is as good as it gets in North America! Our customers have the opportunity to stay at our 5 Star Orvis Endorsed Alaska Fishing Lodge while fishing the Alagnak River. In 2009 we had one of our best Alaska fly fishing year’s ever for Salmon Fishing. In that season we had over 2 million Sockeye Salmon, 1 million Pink Salmon & 400,000 Chum Salmon filter through our river system. In addition to that we had average runs of King Salmon and an extra strong Coho & Silver run. Altogether we had around 4 million total Salmon return to the Alagnak River. At the Alaska Trophy Adventures Lodge we offer Alaska Salmon Fishing the way it should be: Catching Salmon... not just fishing for Salmon.
A Typical Day:
During the summer months our anglers average 15 - 20 fish landed daily with our top anglers landing 35 - 40 fish per day. This includes a mixed bag to include King Salmon - Sockeye Salmon - Chum Salmon - Pink Salmon and Silver Salmon. If you are looking for one of Alaska's best salmon fishing rivers, than the Alagnak River is a serious contender as one of the all time top salmon rivers in the world. Our Alaska Salmon fishing season starts in mind June along the Alagnak River with Sockeyes and King Salmon entering the river first, followed by the Chum Salmon in mid July. The pinks will run towards the end of July followed by the Coho Salmon arriving the 1st week of August through mid September.

At Alaska Trophy Adventures we also offer World Class caliber sea duck hunting off of the infamous “Island X”! This is truly an Extreme Alaska Sea Duck Hunting Adventure where we specialize in Mature King Eiders, Pacific Eiders, Harlequin, Aleutian Teal and Eurasian Widgeon in the Aleutian and Pribilof Islands over decoys. In the 2010 / 2011 Alaska duck hunting season we had a 100% Success Rate for King Eiders harvesting 95 King Eiders! We now offer a 100% return policy in writing on our King Eider Sea duck hunts, if you do not have the opportunity to harvest a Drake King Eider on Island X with us. We realize that these duck hunting trips are expensive and we want 100% of our duck hunting clients happy and we are willing to back up our hunts with an unsurpassed quality assurance of offering a hunt of a lifetime.

Fly to Anchorage the night before the hunt starts stay over at the lake shore motor inn and fly to Island X the day of your hunt around 11am. You must have all state & federal duck stamps before you arrive, please get those months ahead as many places sell out. Round trip airfare from the lower 48 to Island X averages $1400-$1600 per person round trip so don't be shocked.
