Our Philosophy: Burnt Lake Outfitters is a premier Alberta Big Game Hunting Outfitter. We can offer you opportunities for trophy class black bears on all of our Alberta spring bear hunts. In the fall we also offer trophy caliber black bear hunts and World Class caliber whitetail deer hunts. The area's we hunt in Alberta produce trophy class big game yearly, it's very important to research any area before booking any hunt, please research our area's and you won't be disappointed.
We have taken Burnt Lake Outfitters to a new level in trophy black bear hunting. Having over 3,000 sq miles of exclusive bear territory gives us the edge in providing a chance at a trophy class bear. Moving farther into virgin territory is always exciting for us and our clients. Most of these bears have never seen a human before. These types of guided bear hunts are very exciting for all of our hunters. Alberta is also known for producing monster whitetail's. We run our whitetail hunt's in the provinces #1 area for monster whitetails. Buck's in this area reach world class status, B&C bucks are not uncommon. I guide these hunts personally and are designed for the serious trophy hunters. Hunting trophy class animal's is never easy; personnel service is always a priority to us to ensure you enjoy all aspects of your Alberta whitetail deer or bear hunt.

Alberta Spring Bear Hunts
Our Alberta spring bear hunting camp is located in the heart of the boreal forest. Trophy class bears are taken annually. We have taken bears over 8ft with P&Y, B&C skulls. We also boast one of the largest concentrations of color phase bears in North America. Some weeks our bear hunters harvest 40% color phase. Our fully serviced Alberta spring bear hunts offer a full service tent camp that will keep you warm and dry in the worst weather. Our camp staff love what they do, and this reflects on our success and yours.

A Typical Day In Bear Camp
If you have never been in Northern Alberta in the spring the amount of daylight will amaze you. The day starts off with a hearty breakfast. During the morning, successful bear hunters from the day before will have their bears skinned and prepared while the other hunters will have time to preparing for the evening guided bear hunt at our archery and rifle ranges. When the bear hunting guides return it's time to talk strategy over dinner which is at 3pm. We then take the hunters out to their stands for the evening Alberta bear hunt. The last legal shooting light is between 10 - 11pm depending on when you come in the spring. Our guides will pick you up and retrieve any bears harvested and taken back to camp to enjoy a late lunch after a long hunt. We then gather around the camp fire to swap stories and make new friends, this is a very enjoyable way to end the day. | |

North East Alberta is the provinces #1 whitetail area. Where the farmland meets the boreal forest bucks can grow to world class status and is a hunter's paradise. 200 inch whitetail bucks are not out of reach when hunting in this area. Harvesting a 150 class buck is excellent, with a chance of harvesting a real world class whitetail will always be on your mind when hunting in the area. | |

Lodging And Meals:
Our Alberta spring bear hunting and fall moose hunting camps are located in Alberta's remote areas. Tent camps are used to conduct these guided hunts. Our tent camps are very comfortable, even in bad weather. Each tent has a wood stove and power when the generator is running. Great meals are prepared by our chef daily in our huge cook tent- it's a great place to relax and talk hunting. Our Alberta Whitetail deer hunts - rifle and archery, our run out of our lodge. It's very important to us to keep our hunters as comfortable as possible during their hunt with us. This allows the hunter to concentrate on hunting only. |

Outfitter Brian Kitzan has been hunting / guiding Alberta spring bear hunts and fall whitetail hunts in this area of Alberta for over 20 years. Hunting Alberta's North has always been a passion for Brian. With a vast area to hunt Bear, Whitetail, and Mule deer, hunters can experience many different stand sites. Brian started Burnt Lake Outfitters with the same principles about hunting as many North American hunters have. Keeping his deer and bear hunting camps small and efficient is always a top priority. Brian feels that smaller camps offer a better experience for all of his customer's Alberta spring bear hunts. |

Hunting Rates And Packages:
All of our Alberta spring bear hunts are sold in packages with no hidden costs; license and tag's are all included in our guided hunts. Trophy Alberta bear hunting packages are $3,500 for the first bear and only $500 for the second bear. A timber wolf permit can also be added to your hunt for only $100 making a great hunt even better. Email us for details on pricing for our trophy whitetail and moose hunts.
