Outfitter Brian Kitzan has been hunting / guiding in this area for over 20 years. Hunting Alberta's North has always been a passion for Brian. With a vast area to hunt Bear, Whitetail, and Mule deer, hunters can experience many different stand sites. Brian started Burnt Lake Outfitters with the same principles about hunting as many North American hunters have. Keeping hunting camps small and efficient is always a priority. Brian feels that smaller camps offer a better experience throughout your hunt.

The area's we hunt in Alberta produce trophy class big game yearly, it's very important to research any area before booking any hunt, please research our area's and you won't be disappointed. We have taken Burnt Lake Outfitters to a new level in trophy black bear hunting. Having over 3,000 sq miles of exclusive bear territory gives us the edge in providing a chance at a trophy class bear. Moving farther into virgin territory is always exciting for us and our clients. Most of these bears have never seen a human before, these types of hunts are very exciting for our hunters. Alberta is also known for producing monster whitetail's. We run our whitetail hunt's in the provinces #1 area for monster whitetails. Buck's in this area reach world class status, B&C bucks are not uncommon. I guide these hunts personally and are designed for the serious trophy hunters. Hunting trophy class animal's is never easy; personnel service is always a priority to us to ensure you enjoy all aspects of your hunt.

Our bear and moose camps are located in Alberta's remote areas. Tent camps are used to conduct these hunts. Our tent camps are very comfortable, even in bad weather. Each tent has a wood stove and power when the generator is running. Great meals are prepared by our chef daily in our huge cook tent- it's a great place to relax and talk hunting. Whitetail rifle and archery hunt's our run out of our lodge. It's very important to us to keep our hunters as comfortable as possible during their hunt with us. This allows the hunter to concentrate on hunting only.

All of our hunts are sold in packages with no hidden costs; license and tag's are all included in our hunts. Trophy bear packages are $3,500 for the first bear and only $500 for the second bear. A timber wolf permit can also be added to your hunt for only $100 making a great hunt even better. Email us for details on pricing for our trophy whitetail and moose hunts.
