Ontario Duck Hunts:
We are located on Lake St Clair in Ontario, Canada, on the Mississippi Flyway- where hundreds of thousands of divers and puddle ducks migrate to feed and rest on the rich natural vegetation of Mitchell's Bay. This is also where most every puddle duck and diver can be found, with large numbers of Canvasback and Redheads feeding on wild celery and the abundance of other natural vegetation on the bay. On your Ontario duck hunt you will be comfortable and dry in our 18' custom boat blind, overlooking a spread of 80 -120 custom painted decoys. This is a full days hunt... or until you harvest a daily limit. Our season runs from September 24 - Jan 8th. We like to host groups of 2 - 3 hunters but can accommodate as many as 9 with additional boats and guides on hand. | |

A Typical Day:
We start the day by picking you up at your cabin bright and early. Although we are only a couple minutes from the launch we will be on the water by 5:00 am each day. After a short ride in our beautiful 18' duck boat you can relax in comfort while we set the spread overlooking the waters of Mitchell's Bay which boasts one of the most diverse flyways in all of North America. In fact you are likely to see most all species of puddle ducks and divers resting and feeding there. Bag limits can consist of a mixture of both species, although we set up our rig with our clients desired species in mind. We have if not the highest, one of the highest concentration of Canvasback and Redhead populations in North America. With a very generous limit of 6 Cans or 6 Redheads per licenced hunter. That is why people come to Lake St. Clair, Ontario Canada. In addition you will be entertained by our professionaly trained retriever in between your hot breakfast and lunch. | |

Hunter Testimonial: I can’t say enough good things about Blair and his duck hunts. He has great decoys, and he knows where the ducks are. This is the third year we have hunted with Blair. This is one of those hunts of a lifetime, and although we have not limited every time we hunted with Blair, It was not due to a lack of birds, it was poor shooting on our parts. You will never experience so many ducks in the sky! We do not see the number of ducks that are on Lake St. Clair. Blair was like one of the guys, he made the 3 of feel as if we knew him a lifetime. He made us breakfast on the boat, as well as brought lunch. This is truly a hunt that should not be missed if you are a dedicated waterfowl hunter.

Lodging And Meals LODGING is available at PARKSIDE CABINS , just two blocks from the marina where my boat is docked during the duck season. No messin with launching or waiting in line at the boat ramp, just jump in and go. With a restaurant attached Parkside Cabins has everything a duck hunter needs, and with reasonable rates at $50. per night for a room that sleeps two. |

About The Outfitter:
My name is Blair Ellison. My father first took me duck hunting in Ontario at the age of 6. I am now 38 years old and look forward to fall every year. With roughly 15 years of guiding experience I feel lucky to share my experience and passion with fellow duck hunters. Although we love to harvest on every trip we go out, ethics and safety for all involved is our highest priorty at St Clair Ducks.

Ontario Duck Hunting Packages
Our standard Ontario duck hunting daily rate is $175.00 per day, per hunter.
Included in this hunt package is a full days hunt along with a hot breakfast and lunch on the boat. This does not include: lodging or dinner and your Ontario duck hunting license, as well as your bird cleaning are your resonsibility.
