Minnesota Walleye Fishing
At The Wing N Fin Resort we have an abundance of fishing opportunities on Minnesota’s 14th largest lake bordering both Minnesota and South Dakota, providing fantastic fishing opportunities prior to the traditional Minnesota opener. During the summer months we have great blue gill and northern pike fishing as well. And come fall, you die hard walleye fisherman are in for a real treat with our late season fishing! If you prefer a self-guided trip, fully guided, or would like to bring your own boat and stay at the lodge we can accommodate nearly any situation. However, if you want to keep your feet on shore, our waterfront property offers great fishing opportunities as well. At the Wing N Fin Lodge each guest is treated as an individual and not a number, making you’re stay an experience to remember! |

Typical Day:
After a good night sleep wake up early and listen to pheasants and turkeys beginning the day as you walk down to your boat. Early morning fishing between sunrise and noon offers the best chance at catching a Lake Traverse trophy. When the morning fishing is done you can come back to the Wing N Fin grounds to enjoy grilling out, possibly a nap, or get ready to go back out for a good evening of fishing. Around an hour before sunset its time to start making your way back shore, anchoring and working the shoreline. Our fantastic shoreline fishing is equipped with brand new docks providing great fishing opportunities just a few feet from the lodge! Relaxing, spending time with family and friends, telling stories, and talking about the next day's adventure will close out the day! |

Wing N Fin owner Todd Johnson’s experience and knowledge of the hunting areas around Lake Traverse is priceless when you are looking for a great place to go hunting in the fall. Todd will provide you with land owner contacts, access to prime hunting grounds, along with scouting before your arrival. Telling you where you need to be to get a great chance at the game you are pursuing! Lake Traverse is known as one of the best waterfowl hunting and upland bird hunting areas in Minnesota, along with terrific big game hunting. Lodging And Meals Located just off the water, Traverse North Harbor Lodge, Hall & Suites is an unmatched lodging experience! We have several lodging options available for our quests. We have four, single room and double room cabins for rent overlooking the shores of Lake Traverse. We also offer The Harbor Lodge for larger group sizes and corporate outings. This is a 4,600 square foot lodge which sleeps up to 20 people. In addition we have the Harbor Hall / Conference Center which is a 2,200 square foot lounge for our customers to relax and recoup in. The lounge comes fully equipped with Free Billiards, Wireless Internet and Direct TV!

If you are an experienced angler and prefer to fish by yourself, or would like to have a fully guided adventure. We can organize the guided service for you, or provide you with the "secrets" to where the big fish usually hang out! If you are coming to the Lake Traverse area to hunt, guided hunts can be organized as well.
