At WFS, we specialize in Michigan waterfowl hunting adventures. Michigan’s rich dark soil makes for wonderful rolling, sprawling crop land and wooded landscapes, lakes and potholes, and all this combined makes for fantastic waterfowl hunting. Specifically, giant Canada geese and puddle ducks! What else could you possibly want? We started this operation long before any other local outfitters. We were the first in the country to commercially outfit for local Canada goose hunting in Michigan. In my opinion these hardest and greatest birds in the country to hunt, certainly some of the biggest! Michigan was the first to offer a local Canada goose season, around 1986 and after a couple years of figuring them out, we started offering Michigan goose hunting. These birds can be well over 15 to 20 years of age. They live here year round, growing big and fat!
A Typical Day:
Get down and cover up, here they come! As you peak over the top of your blind trying not to tip off the birds you are there, you see a dozen giant Canada geese cupped and committed. Low and slow, the guides are ripping on the calls and the birds can’t get down fast enough…………………………………….That is what you can expect from a typical day of Michigan goose hunting with Waterfowl Specialist- Scott Robinson. If you love to deer hunt then we have the hunt for you. We have harvested many trophy class bucks, all in the state of Michigan. If you are a Michigan hunter, you know how hard this is to do. I have guided and taken over 25 trophy class bucks. These are all 8 pts or more, with 15+ inch spreads, up to 150" bucks. We have harvested 100's of whitetail deer over the years.
We have also harvested around 70 turkeys in the last two years. Some of the biggest birds have been an 12” - 25 lb toms. Many 10 ¾” bearded toms and one of those weighed 26lbs! We even took a couple of toms with 1 ½” spurs. Not everybody got toms, some got jakes but what a fun bird to hunt and they make a great dinner to boot.
Lodging And Meals
On all of our Michigan goose hunting and duck hunting packages we do not include meals or lodging in your daily hunt rates. However we are able to make recommendations of several local motels and restaurants in the area that can meet your needs and will be in close proximity of the field or slough you will be hunting for the day.

Early Canada Goose Hunting: September 1st & 2nd - $150.00 per gun. A third day can also be reserved for an additional $125.00 per gun. (3 bird limit)
Early Canada Goose Hunting: September 3rd-15th - $125.00 per gun (3 bird limit)
Fall Michigan Canada Goose Hunting: September 17th – October 7th - $100.00 per gun (2 bird limit)
Late Season Michigan Canada Goose Hunting & Duck Hunting: December 31st & January 1st - $150.00 per gun. This hunt not only includes hunting for your 3 bird limit of giant Canada geese but also puddle ducks during Michigan's special two day late duck season.
Late Season Michigan Canada Goose Hunting: January 2nd - January 31st - $125.00 per gun (3 bird limit)
