Welcome to Lost Prairie Lodge. Located on the northern end of the Midwest prairie pothole region 30 miles south of the Canadian border in Cavalier County, North Dakota. This North Dakota duck hunting lodge is located in a prime location for waterfowl migration. The land surrounding the lodge supports a variety of bird species making it the ideal place for waterfowl hunting expeditions. Field and water hunts are conducted annually as the vast variety of migrating ducks and geese travel the central flyway. Ample food sources, an abundance of water and safe roosting areas all play host to millions of waterfowl annually. During peak migration, Sand hill Cranes and Tundra Swans also migrate through the area. |

PREMIER NORTH DAKOTA WATERFOWL HUNTING AND LODGING |
 | HONKER DOWN GUIDE SERVICE and LODGE of North Dakota is owned and operated by Brad and Diane Finneman in east central North Dakota - the "prairie pothole region" of the state. We have been in operation since 2002. We offer a very clean, comfortable and private hunting lodge location exclusively for all of our hunters.
Brad is also a licensed guide and outfitter. Honker Down Guide Service has access to thousands of acres of prime goose, duck, whitetail deer and sharptail grouse habitat and wee specialize in the same! Two things, in particular, set us apart from most outfitters. We cater to small groups (no hunting party being larger than six) thus affording you the best hunt possible, and if our clients do not limit out in the morning, we will do a second hunt in the afternoon. Brad and his guide scout tirelessly for each day’s hunt. |

| We are located in Bowman, North Dakota. Which is located about 180 miles from Bismarck and / or Rapid City, right in the southwest corner of the state. We are located a great location for sportsman. Our area offers: excellent fishing at the Bowman-Haley Damm. We have spectacular upland bird hunting, prairie dog hunting, deer hunting, antelope hunting….You name it we have it!
Our motel is a perfect set up for your next hunting adventure. We offer rooms with a refrigerator and microwave as well as wireless internet.
