Prairie King Combo
We operate in the heart of the most dense concentrations of a unique indigenous game bird. Millenniums before the pheasant was carted across the ocean, the Greater Prairie Chicken was right here doing its annual mating dance on its lek atop a sandhill knob. Come with us to experience a Nebraska upland bird hunt with this “greatest of all American gamebirds” –the Prairie King. This truly is the last best place to hunt prairie chickens as evidenced by the fact that 90% of our hunter days are limit days with 3 birds! At the end of a day of walking the prairies for Prairie Chickens and Sharptails, you can relax in a fenceline and pass shoot mourning doves. Mid September through early October is the prime time for our Nebraska upland game bird hunts. | |

A Typical Day:
The greater prairie chicken is best hunted in the heat of the day, when they are most likely to let you walk within range. So we start our day with a good hearty breakfast before heading out into the sandhills for a mid morning start. Normally we’ll hunt chickens from 10:00 until 2:00. At that time the legs are tired but limits are typically had. Then it’s back to camp for a late lunch followed by pass shooting doves, prairie dog shooting or an evening turkey hunt. | |

We offer exceptional wild guided pheasant hunts. We only offer this hunt during the wild Nebraska pheasant hunting season- November through January. This is a great way to escape the crowds, for a truly wild pheasant hunt with your exclusive small group of hunters. Lodging And Meals:
We operate two camps, the Redbird Lodge and the Big Sandy Lodge. Both camps sleep up to 5 hunters with private bedrooms. Our full time cooks prepare home cooked meals that will guarantee you won’t loose any weight on your hunt with us! |

Hunting Rates And Packages:
Nebraska Upland Bird Hunting Packages
3 Day / 4 Night All Inclusive Upland Hunt: $2,450 per person 2 Day / 3 Night All Inclusive Upland Hunt: $1,850 per person Additional days may be added for $650 per day, per person.
All Nebraska upland hunts include: meals, lodging, guiding, transportation from the airport as well as during the hunt, use of equipment, field preparation of game. Hunt prices do not include transportation to the camp, Nebraska sales tax (5.5%), licenses, taxidermy, tips or meat processing unless otherwise noted above.
