We've spent the last 25 yrs putting in the habitat and managing a very strong population of wild pheasants (no released birds). You will truly be in for one of the most exciting pheasant hunts in the world. With over 8,000 acres of prime habitat and thousands of wild ringnecks, our South Dakota upland bird hunters enjoy World Class caliber wild pheasant hunting. Outfitter Scott Nenaber also provides a professional guide and dogs as needed, to accompany you on your hunt, to ensure that you have a successful hunting experience and do not have any problems getting of course and stay on the right side of the property lines. We can also customize a combination hunt with a morning of waterfowl hunting and an afternoon of upland hunting. | |

A Typical Day:
After awaking from a restful night’s sleep at the Best Western Inn located in Huron, South Dakota you can enjoy a relaxing breakfast and get ready for an action packed day of chasing wild roosters across the South Dakota prairies on our 8,000 acres of privately managed upland bird hunting grounds. The properties encompass all types of cover and conditions. If you like running wide ranging pointers, we can accommodate crp style grounds. If your retrievers like an up close and personal hunt we can run some smaller, manageable cattail sloughs. No matter what types of cover you enjoy hunting, you can be assured of ample opportunity of a limit of All Wild South Dakota roosters each and every day of your hunt. We also try to keep the cost down by offering daily hunts and only charge you for access to our grounds, the guide and dogs as needed. If you do draw a non-resident waterfowl tag, we can also offer a Fantastic Waterfowl / Upland Combo Hunt. | |

Also Offering: South Dakota Waterfowl Hunts:
We also offer some of the best waterfowl action in the central flyway. With South Dakota being one of the top two production states for waterfowl in the country, we are able to have excellent success and action packed hunts right from the start of the South Dakota opener. We have a 6 duck limit with opportunity to shoot over a dozen different species of ducks in the early part of the season. As the season goes on and the weather starts to get colder our focus turns primarily to mallards and Canada geese. We hunt mostly out of Final Approach lay out blinds in grain fields or along small bodies of water. We offer and amazing South Dakota pheasant / duck or goose combo hunt! During the late season. We also offer an awesome late season Canada goose hunt running through mid Feb. near Pierre. |  |

Lodging And Meals:
All of our South Dakota pheasant hunts and regular season waterfowl hunts take place in and around the Huron, SD region. We have our South Dakota hunters stay at the Best Western right in Huron, SD during their hunting trip. We handle making all of the reservations for our pheasant hunters.
Our late season Canada goose hunts take place near the Pierre, SD region. In Pierre SD we put our hunters up at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention center. Again, we handle making all of the reservations for our hunters.
The meals will be accommodated for at the local restaurants and grocery stores depending on the needs of each group. All lodging and meals are not included except for lunch during our pheasant hunts. |

Standard Daily Pheasant Hunts: $250 per gun
Late Season Daily Pheasants Hunts (after December 15): $175 per gun
Combination Daily Waterfowl / Pheasant Hunts: $425 per gun

| About The Outfitter:
We have been in the outfitting business since the mid 80's when my father started the pheasant hunting operation on our family farm. I grew up hunting pheasants and waterfowl in South Dakota with my dad. At an early age I was running dogs and offering guided pheasant hunts. In the mid 90's we started outfitting for South Dakota upland and waterfowl hunts in the prairie pothole region where we live. We have access to over 8,000 acres of prime hunting properties now. We are in the heart of the prairie pothole region which is bountiful with wild roosters and waterfowl every fall! With my experience, guides, dogs and propierties- we will do everything we can to give you the true South Dakota upland bird hunting experience. |
