Over the last 20 years, the management of our game herds has promoted trophy quality heads and high male-to-female ratios. My staff and I will strive to make your hunt the best experience possible. Limiting hunts and hunters is the trademark of our outfit. Our camps are producing the best trophy heads that can be found in a fair chase situation. Our Butte Camp lies in the Thorofare region which is one of the few places to hunt elk during the rut. We have consistently been at least 90% successful on mature bull elk (5x5 or better). As a bonus, the elk & deer gun seasons run together giving you the option to combo hunt. The Wyoming application deadline for Elk hunting is January 31. |

| At Horse Creek Outfitting we offer fully guided 2 x 1 rifle hunts for Pronghorn Antelope. The terrain varies from open, rolling prairie to sagebrush country. This is a great hunt for people hunting the West for the first time. You get a good feel for Western hunting and a great opportunity to harvest a very unique and special trophy. The bucks we harvest are typically in the 13"-15" range. We do the hunting using 4x4 vehicles and on foot. We use a spot and stalk method to ensure shots at reasonable ranges as well as a humane kill. We also offer a variety of other guided hunts such as archery and rifle Mule Deer and Elk hunts. |
