Ozark Mountain Outfitters Guided Whitetail Deer and Turkey Hunts: Whether your pursuit is with bow, rifle or muzzleloader, we will accommodate your deer hunting adventure. Also available are possibly the very best Spring and Fall turkey hunts. Experienced guides will show you their favorite spots so that you might take part in the natural bounty of the Ozarks.  Each day will start with a sustaining breakfast, hot coffee and high hopes.  Then off to the woods where you will be placed in elevated shooting houses strategically located along lush fields, or in comfortable ladder stands set up to cut off those river bottom bucks from their daily travels. Finally, end the day trading hunting stories around the dinner table.

ABOUT US: OZARK MOUNTAIN OUTFITTERS is now in it's 6th year of business in 2007. Jim and Darlene Wilson are your hosts and look forward to meeting you. Jim is 60 years old and killed his first deer when he was 14. He was born and raised in the OZARK MOUNTAINS. Jim loves to hunt and our family looks forward to sharing our beautiful properties with you this upcoming hunting season.        If you are looking for a reasonably priced hunt, great hospitality, outstanding hunting, and memories you will keep forever you need to discover for yourself quality hunting in the heart of the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, in Texas County. LOCATION: OZARK MOUNTAIN OUTFITTERS is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, less than 2 ½ hours from St. Louis, Mo, 1 ½ hours from Springfield, Mo, and 3 miles north from Houston, Mo.

MEALS AND LODGING: At OZARK MOUNTAIN OUTFITTERS you will enjoy the quiet luxury, and the warm hospitality that our lodge has to offer. We provide you with clean facilities; hot showers and home-cooked meals that will make you want to stay until the next hunting season. “Hunting Camp” should not be a lesson in survival, but of hunters being able to “rough it” in style. Share the camaraderie of our camp and experience the laughter, the disappointment and the victories that are an integral part of the hunting tradition.

WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS: OZARK MOUNTAIN OUTFITTERS offers First Class Whitetail Deer Hunts. We have over 1,600 acres of prime habitat managed specifically for big bucks.  We have over 50 food plots totaling in excess of 90 acres. They consist of corn, soy beans, wheat, winter rye, chicory, clover, rape, and turnips.  Our goal is your hunting success.   We have more than 50 hunting sites consisting of 16 foot & 20 foot ladder stands, pre hung tree stands, ground blinds, and enclosed hunting tower stands. Full body harnesses are provided. We now offer both Archery and Muzzleloader Whitetail Deer Hunts. Hunter safety required if born after January 1, 1967.  All of our hunts included lodging and homecooked meals.  We'll do everything in our power to put you in a position to have a successful hunting experience!

WILD TURKEY HUNTS: OZARK MOUNTAIN OUTFITTERS is a family owned and operated outfitter who specializes in guided wild turkey hunts in southern Missouri.  We have over 1,600 acres of prime habitat with hundreds of turkeys on it.  We have over 50 food plots totaling in excess of 90 acres consisting of corn, soy beans, wheat, winter rye, chicory, clover & turnips.    We specialize in making your hunting experience a success whether you bag a bird or not!  However be assured that your hunt is our top priority and we will do everything in our power to put you in a position to have a successful hunting experience! We are now offering both Guided Shotgun and Archery Wild Turkey Hunts.  Don't forget that Missouri offers multiple over the counter out of state turkey tags.  All of our guided hunts include meals and lodging.

HUNTING RATES AND PACKAGES: OZARK MOUNTAIN OUTFITTERS would like to thank you for considering hunting with us here in Missouri.  Our hunts vary in length and cost. A deposit must be received within seven days of booking your hunt. The balance is due when you arrive at the lodge. Please make plans carefully as deposits are nonrefundable. If for some unforeseen reason that you cannot make the hunt, your deposit will be applied to another hunt.
