In March of 2006 I was invited to drive down to SE Nebraska to meet Shawn Reiff for the first time and experience Spring Snow Goose Hunting at its finest with Shawn and the rest of Rainwater Basin Outfitters. | Guided Spring Snow Goose Hunts | |

Rainwater Basin Outfitters states that they are Nebraska's #1 snow goose outfitter. They exclusively hunt the Rainwater Basin while in Nebraska. Shawn Reiff is from this area, and he knows the Rainwater Basin like no other outfitter. This means no guess work for you.
They hunt snow geese in one of Nebraska's hottest spots for the spring migration. The Rainwater Basin holds 4.5 million Snows, Blues, and Ross geese that utilize the grain fields in this area, as well as the numerous ponds and marshes. They have large land leases around these marshes that allow us to be able to put you into some of the best decoy action in the area.
Rainwater Basin Outfitters specializes in hunting snow geese over large decoy spreads that consist of more than 1,000 decoys per spread. They will use the most advanced hunting equipment on the market.

Rainwater Basin Outfitters has some great waterfowl hunting in the fall. The Rainwater Basin of Nebraska attracts millions of ducks and geese every year. They see Mallards,Teal, Pintail, Wood duck, Redheads, Canada Geese, Snow Geese, and Specklebelly Geese.
In the fall they hunt out of a heated pit blinds for your comfort. They also have large decoy spreads to bring in everything in the area. Waterfowl hunts can be combined with an afternoon pheasant hunt as well. Contact Shawn Reiff for details.

YOU WILL HUNT 10,000 ACRES OF SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA'S FINEST PRIVATE LAND. RAINWATER BASIN OUTFITTERS HAS WILD PHEASANT AND QUAIL HUNTING LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN. THEY HUNT THOUSANDS OF ACRES OF CRP AND GRASS WATER WAYS. THE BIRD NUMBERS ARE OUTSTANDING.
ALL PHEASANT AND QUAIL HUNTS ARE GUIDED, AND YOU WILL BE THE ONLY HUNTERS HUNTING THE GROUND. ALL HUNTS ARE A MIXED BAG SO YOU CAN SHOOT PHEASANT AND QUAIL AT THE SAME TIME. DOGS ARE NOT PROVIDED. THIS GIVES MY CLIENTS A CHANCE TO HUNT THEIR DOG WITH OUT THE INTERFERENCE FORM MY DOG. ALL HUNTS START AT SUN UP AND END AT 3:00 PM WITH A LUNCH AT NOON.

Spring turkey season in Nebraska will be one of the most enjoyable times in the woods you will ever have. Hunting along the heavy oak bottoms of the blue river. You will enjoy nature at it's finest. Southeast Nebraska has become heavily populated with the Merriam turkey. We have large populations on our properties, and have very large numbers of big Gobblers. Turkey hunting with us is made easy because we know how to put you on that big Gobbler, and not on a wild turkey chase. You can expect to see and average of 10 to 20 turkey a day. They have a 100% success rate, and we will not send you home empty handed.
