 | About The Outfitter
Don and Coleen Tietz currently live in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota while spending a considerable amount of time at the Ranch during the Summer and fall. Don has been hunting most of his life, ranging from Deer, Caribou and elk to Pheasants, partridges, chukars, and most kinds of waterfowl.

About The Hunt
The day will begin with a hearty breakfast prepared by out onsite chef . At that time we will go over the days hunt. Depending on the amount of people, we will split the hunters into teams and assign the guides and dogs to each. After breakfast hunters will first warm up on clay pigeons before heading out in the field. Typically this is soon after the birds have returned to cover after feeding.
During the hunt, your guide and the dogs will give you ample opportunities to shoot birds. Just remember to be ready at all times and watch the dogs do their job, they’ve been hunting this land for many years and watching them is almost rewarding enough…almost. Your guide will be right there with you to help in any way he can, your success is a direct reflection on him so he will take a personal interest in seeing that you get some shooting.
Coyote hunting is also available after bird hunting if you choose. You can bring your own rifle or use one of the ranches at no cost. Licenses can be picked up in town.
After the hunting is over for the day, we will come back to the lodge where we will clean all of your birds for you, in the meantime we’ll put the guns away and get cleaned up and get ready for supper. |

 | Lodging And Meals
The ranch house is located on the southern edge of the property. We are equipped to handle up to 12 hunters at a time, each hunter having their own double bed. We have a large kitchen as well as a large common area for relaxation, but one of the best features of the house is the veranda – out there you can either soak in the hot tub, relax on the hammock or just sit and enjoy a beverage while watching the sunset. All meals are provided and are prepared in house by our onsite Chef . We guarantee that you won’t walk away hungry. If you have any special needs for meals we ask that you let us know ahead of time so that we may accommodate you. |

 | Rates And Packages
We do both 2, 3 and 4 Day Hunts, each at $350 per person per day all inclusive. Other than the list below, we’ll provide everything for you.
Things to bring with you;
• Your favorite gun
• Shells to last the entire weekend, if you run out we can get more in town.
• North Dakota hunting license (can be picked up here in town)
• Clothes, towel and toiletries for the weekend.
• Sleeping bag
• Any adult beverages you may want.

 | Location And Property
Red Rock Ranch is located approximately 5 miles north of the town of Richardton, North Dakota. Richardton is located 75 miles west of Bismarck and 25 mile east of Dickinson, North Dakota. Visitors will take I-94 from either of these two towns and turn north on ND-8 exit number 84. Go north for about 1 mile and turn right at the stop sign. Go about another mile or so and turn left at 87th Avenue. The Ranch is about 5 miles north of there.
The property is about 2700 acres of prime pheasant habitat. We have many creek bottoms, tree rows & food plots that provide great cover & feeding areas for birds.
