California Diver Duck Hunting:
At Nor Cal Waterfowl we pride ourselves in offering a World Class caliber California diver duck hunt in northern California on the San Francisco Bay. On this hunt you will have ample opportunities at both Greater Scaup, Lesser Scaup, Buffleheads, Canvasbacks, Common Goldeneyes and for a few lucky hunters a Barrows Goldeneye will make their way into the bag throughout the season. In additional to the World Class California diver duck hunting, we can also mix it up a little bit and go after the areas large population of wintering Surf Scoters as well. Either way this 3 day / 4 night package is one to remember. The best dates to come are between December 15 – the last weekend in January. Groups of 4 – 6 hunters get a private hunt but we can accommodate smaller group sizes. | |

A Typical Day:
On a typical day our California duck hunters will awake in a private hotel room setting after a great night’s sleep and meet your outfitter at a pre-set time in the parking lot. A quick stop a t a local convenience store for a “duck hunters breakfast” is the norm. From there we will launch the 21 ft duck water boat from an area boat launch and away we go! Throughout the day you can expect to see large populations of all different species of diver ducks. Most of our hunters will have ampler opportunity to fill their limit throughout the day. We can also assist trophy hunters in finding the species of their choice. Regardless, by the end of the hunt our California duck hunters will have a great memory and photos to go home with from the hunt. We book most of our hunts as 3 day / 4 night packages to ensure a “bad weather day” doesn’t ruin the trip as most hunters are coming from out of state. | |

ALSO OFFERING: Surf Scoter Hunts
In addition to the World Class caliber late season diver duck hunting we have in our area, we also have some incredible Surf Scoter hunting to break up the trip a little bit. Most of our duck hunters are species specific and enjoy a day of hunting for Scoters to add to their taxidermy showcase at home. Either way a day of targeting Scoters is a great way to maximize all of the incredible waterfowl hunting we have to offer here in northern California! And again we can accommodate group sizes of 1 - 6 hunters. Groups of 4 or more get a private hunt but single hunters are welcome! | |

Lodging & Meals
Lodging for your 3 day / 4 night California duck hunt package is included in the overall package. We have our California duck hunters stay at one of our 5 star caliber local hotels that is the closest and best option in proximity to the access for each mornings duck hunt. Meals are not included in the package but we can make several very good recommendations for your dinners with top notch area restaurants. |
