Our Philosophy: Gobble n Grunt Outfitters has been practicing quality deer management since before it had a name. Since 1991 we have been managing farms and ranches in North central Nebraska for mature whitetail. Our success rate, long list of happy clients and the numerous trophy bucks we harvest each year speaks volumes to the fruits of hard work and attention to detail that is required to consistently put folks on big, mature bucks. |

Trophy Nebraska Whitetail Hunts
Hunt the peak rut in mid November for an exciting, non-stop action rifle hunt. The bucks are on their feet all day long making mature bucks as vulnerable as they will be all year long. This hunt consistently produces 90% success. Past two years have averaged over 140 gross with top end bucks in the 170 to 180 range. Archery season starts Sept 15 with bachelor groups visiting alfalfa fields nightly. It’s a great hunt to catch those big bucks off guard after a sleepy summer. Then we switch into the pre-rut action which is our most successful archery hunt. We have a two buck limit on our archery hunts. December is the muzzleloader season for hunters wiling to brave the cold at a chance to collect a big buck yarding up near agricultural fields. | |

A Typical Day
Our guides expect to hunt all day every day on these hunts to insure success for every client. On most days you will see deer movement throughout the day so putting in your hours pays dividends. However, for the client wanting to rest in the mid-day a few hours in the stand morning and evening also produces great results. The semi open terrain gives you the opportunity to see bucks chasing does, the occasional fight and in general just a lot of rut activity. Expect to see a lot of deer every day on this hunt. | |

ALSO OFFERING: Guided Bison Hunt
A unique opportunity to hunt the American Bison, either as a stand alone hunt or in combination with one of our other hunts. Hunts are conducted along the Niobrara River in traditional bison range. | |

Lodging And Meals:
We operate two camps, the Redbird Lodge and the Big Sandy Lodge. Both camps sleep up to 10 hunters with two hunters per bedroom. They are not your normal deer camp accommodations, well appointed, kept clean and tidy. Our full time cooks prepare home cooked meals that will guarantee you won’t loose any weight on your hunt with us! |
