At the end of December we were able to join Dakota Stowers of North Texas Outfitters on an Incredible- Texas Duck and Wild Boar Hunt along the Texas / Oklahoma border. This 3 day adventure was one for the books. With not only harvested daily limits of trophy Pintails, Wigeons and Mallards, but a morning where our two groups combined for a 14 man limit of 70 Canada geese and to top it off we were able to participate in a night thermal wild hog hunt and brought home some delicious meat for the freezer! Everything from start to finish was amazing on this hunt! Thus we were proud to announce that Dakota Stowers of North Texas Outfitters would be named our 2021 HuntTheNorth.com Outfitter Of the year.

During the week after Christmas we were able to send HTN Pro-Staffer Joe Mahler down to Texas for an action packed waterfowl and hog hunting combo trip. The waterfowl hunts turned into filled limits of big mallards and a mixed bag to fill out limits. Our hog hunts were as successful including hog dogging! Oklahoma Wild Hog Hunting:
At North Texas Outfitters our incredible Oklahoma wild hog hunts are offered throughout the year! With the Oklahoma hog population growing rapidly each year, our clients experience huge hogs on our 10,000 private acre. When you arrive at camp for our Oklahoma hog hunt, you will be checked into your room and settle into the lodge. Once you have made yourself at home you will have full access to our rifle range to sight guns in if needed. The owner of North Texas Outfitters, Dakota Sowers, has been guiding for 6 years and has years of experience providing 5 star hunting adventures for every hunter in camp. Dakota is passionate about providing a memorable experience for guests, come as clients and leave as friends! |  |

A Typical Day:
When our Oklahoma wild hog hunters arrive to camp they will be greeted by the North Texas Outfitters staff and be shown to their room. Oklahoma hogs are not hunted in the morning because they tend to move towards the evening hours. We do offer several different other hunting options for the morning such as dove hunting in September and October, also our world class waterfowl hunting in November - January. Guests are encouraged to try our dove or duck hunts in the morning and hog hunts in the afternoon for the ultimate experience. On our Oklahoma hog hunts, our guides will take you to your blind in the afternoon for the evening sit. Outside of Deer season we can hunt hogs after daylight with the help of artificial light. When Deer season is NOT in we will take you out before sunset and sometimes a little after. Our feeders are equipped with lights to see pigs when they come in, Also we can provide lights for your guns for FREE. After the shot, quartering of pigs can be done on site for $50 a pig or you are welcome to use our facility to do it on your own. Meat processing is available down the road from the lodge as well. |

In addition to the exceptional hog hunting, we also offer world class Oklahoma waterfowl hunts. With above ground custom made blinds you can hunt in comfort and experience a true gentlemen's hunt. When the northern states all lock tight with ice Oklahoma is home to hundreds of thousands of ducks and geese! We have thousands of acres with terrain consisting of: wetlands, ponds, flooded fields, rivers, timber and much more! Come experience the heart of the migration with North Texas Outfitters and leave with limits!
Note: We also offer an Oklahoma Duck / Hog Combo Hunt Package. Shoot a limit of ducks in the morning, a wild hog in the afternoon and stay overnight at our lodge for $400! |  |

Lodging & Meals On our Oklahoma Wild Hog Hunts, we offer the main onsite lodge for our hunters to stay and relax after the hunt. The lodge is fully furnished and has a full kitchenette for guests to make their own meals. Two large bunk rooms separate different parties in camp. Fit for a king, North Texas Outfitters wants every guest to feel as if they are right at home. If you prefer to keep to yourself and only with your own party, North Texas Outfitters also has two separate lodges for individual parties.
Meals can be added on with groups of 4 or more, plus we offer an open bar each night after the hunt! For those that want to eat on their own, you can use the kitchen or there are many high quality local restaurants in town within a short driving distance. |

Hunting Rates And Packages:
Oklahoma Hog Hunting Packages:
All Inclusive Hog Hunts- $350 per person, per day. Includes onsite lodging and a fully guided hunt with 1 hog, (additional hogs are $50 per hog). Also includes an open bar when you get back from your hunt - $450 for a thermal night hunt
Daily Hog Hunts- $300 each day, without lodging. Includes: 1 hog, additional hogs are $50 per hog
All Inclusive Hog / Duck Hunting Combo Package: $400 per person, per day. Includes onsite lodging and a fully guided hunt morning duck hunt along with an afternoon / evening hog hunt with 1 hog, (additional hogs are $50 per hog). Also includes an open bar when you get back from your hunt
All Inclusive Oklahoma Duck Hunt: $250 per day for daily waterfowl hunts. Also includes onsite lodging and an open bar when you get back from your hunt
Note: Meals are not included in any of our packages but onsite kitchen facilities are available and local restaurants are close by
